Amplified History and Echoes of Ancient Rituals

Step into the primal world of Heilung, where echoes of the ancient Bronze Age to Early Medieval Northern Europe come to life through sound and ritual. Since their inception in 2014, the project has been crafting immersive auditory journeys that transcend conventional music genres. Formed by Kai Uwe Faust, Christopher Juul, and Maria Franz, Heilung's self-described "amplified history" bridges the gap between modern society and the rudimentary roots of humanity.

HEILUNG means “healing” in the German language and this also describes the core intention of the project. The aim is to leave the listener at ease and in a relaxed state after a musical journey that is at times turbulent.
